Today we are pouring the North half of the sixth floor slab, amidst the fog. Large propane heaters are placed on the floor below to generate heat which will allow the concrete to cure without freezing. In the foreground, insulated tarps are ready to be placed over the fresh concrete as soon as the workers have finished troweling it smooth.
